I forgot to take a photo tonight, but I don't want to forget this dinner option. Visually, it actually resembles the last long ago post. We had chicken stew with dumplings. I've never made dumplings before. Why on earth not? They were the easiest thing ever! Flour, baking powder, and salt, a little parsley, add melted butter and milk, mix, steam in the stew! Carrots, celery, onions, peas, a cold weather delight. I'm so tired of housework, though.
